Our major client is seeking a Field Measurement Specialty Operator to work within their facilities located in Houston, TX on a 12-month contract (can be extended).

Job Responsibility:

  • Sales Measurement Witnessing for Gas and LACT Oil Custody Transfer including gas calibrations, gas chromatography, LACT meter provings, sampling for quality and quantity determination with associated documentation administration
  • Allocation measurement duties including conducting gas calibrations of Sr. Orifice fittings, review of 3rd party oil and condensate meter calibrations, administration of allocation sampling for both composite and spot sampling in accordance with API Standards and industry best practices, interface with I&E personnel for measurement device data flow into Delta V supervisory system
  • Well Measurement and Testing duties including validation of well testing for allocation purposes, S&W determination for well testing via Red Eye Water Cut Meter and actual sampling for S&W determination via Shake-out as necessary, calculation review of Multiphase Flow Meter exception testing for subsea field allocation into overall Devils Tower allocation
  • Regulatory Compliance Administration including tracking BSEE compliance for sales meter provings, run tickets, security sealing logs, prover water draw certifications and associated Surface Commingling & Production Measurement Permit compliance
  • Monitor chemical injection rates
  • Monitoring levels in vessels, flushing bridals as directed by control room
  • Compliance testing safety systems
  • Rigging for crane operator during crane activities
  • Opening and closing manual valves, as directed by the control room
  • Assist in platform maintenance, washing decks and cleaning facility
  • Assist in securing platform for weather evacuations

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be capable of physical duties in outdoor environment
