Job Description

The Field Marketing & Sales Support Representative is responsible for promoting company products and strengthening customer relationships within the Japanese food market across Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and the Montreal area. This role focuses on in-person outreach to restaurants, retail stores, and food service businesses, providing product information and samples, identifying new business opportunities, and gathering market insights to support business development and sales growth. In addition to field marketing, the position provides essential sales, administrative, and reporting support by maintaining customer communication, following up on inquiries, sharing feedback on market trends and competitors, and assisting with internal projects. The role also supports events, trade shows, and operational tasks as needed, contributing to overall team success through a flexible, hands-on approach.

Job Responsibility

  • Visit restaurants, retail stores, and food service businesses to introduce and promote company products
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
  • Provide product samples, flyers, and basic product information
  • Identify potential new customers and business opportunities
  • Share customer feedback and market needs and trends
  • Support sales activities within assigned territories

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, or related field is an asset
  • Driver's license
  • Ontario Food Handler Certificate or equivalent is an asset
  • Business-level fluency in English
  • Proficiency in MS office
  • Has knowledge of Japanese foods
  • Able to speak and/or understand Japanese would be an asset
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada and able to work occasional overtime as required

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, or related field
