Job Responsibility:

  • Own and build Botpress’ field marketing function, including strategy, planning, execution, and performance measurement
  • Design and execute a high-impact event calendar across Montreal, international locations, and online formats
  • Lead a range of field marketing programs, including hackathons, workshops, webinars, and more
  • Build event programs that support both pipeline generation and product-led adoption, with clear goals for each initiative
  • Develop partner-led and community-led event motions, including co-hosted activations and ambassador-driven initiatives
  • Define success metrics for field marketing, track performance rigorously, and report insights that inform iteration and scale
  • Build repeatable playbooks for event formats that work — from planning templates to promotional processes to post-event workflows
  • Work with logistics support to coordinate vendors, venues, travel, budget tracking, and event execution details
  • Represent Botpress at events and in the ecosystem as a confident, professional presence for the brand

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of field marketing experience, ideally at a B2B SaaS company
  • Proven track record of running events that drive measurable business outcomes (pipeline, adoption, growth, partnerships, or community)
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with high execution ability — you can plan the motion and run the play
  • Comfortable owning a function from scratch, including building the roadmap, playbooks, and reporting frameworks
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders at once
  • Excellent collaborator who knows how to work cross-functionally and earn buy-in across teams
  • Confident working with third parties (partners, vendors, ambassadors, co-hosts, and external communities)
  • Strong grasp of performance measurement and experimentation — you care about what works, not what looks nice
  • Comfortable working in a developer and technical ecosystem, even if you aren’t technical yourself
  • Willing and able to travel as needed for events (including international travel)
