Job Description:

The Field Marketing Director oversees the marketing function for corporate and higher education dining. You will be a critical function in supporting growth, innovation, customer, and client experiences as well as marshalling American Food & Vending and American Dining Creations' brand. You will work across a portfolio of our dining locations, supporting the entire operations team. This role spans a wide variety of activities and has a dynamic, fast pace with significant self-direction and local innovation required. This position will design, coach, and inspire location and district managers to achieve goals related to meal plan sales, retail innovation, guest engagement and social media communication and impact. This critical leadership role will also play a strong part in new sales activities and client presentations, utilizing insights and industry knowledge to create a vision for future hospitality innovation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create and present customized vision plans to clients and senior leadership
  • Monitor and analyze market and industry trends and create case studies to drive new sales
  • Oversee the creation of new marketing materials and promotions and manage all social media content
  • Work with marketing and project management staff to support trade shows and event planning
  • Develop and lead communications strategies to strengthen brand value within our accounts while upholding brand guidelines
  • Support sales/business development by updating and managing all sales content to increase profitability
  • Support lead generation and social media efforts by partnering with digital marketing as the content advisor ensuring standards are met across dining locations
  • Create and participate in client innovation updates, making strategic recommendations based on collected consumer insights
  • Constantly improve retail growth by applying strong retail execution principles, pricing, product assortment and promotional activities
  • Position requires traveling to various accounts, with 75% fieldwork

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Management roles with a proven track record
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Culinary, Hospitality or Hotel Management is preferred
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of internal functions including operations, IT, culinary, merchandising and design
  • Independent, detail-oriented advisor with strong writing skills to create and oversee brand materials and strategic vision
  • Base understanding of the financial components of contract foodservice and origins of revenue, margin, and costs
