Job Description:

We are seeking an energetic, customer focused technician to join our Toowoomba based team as a Field Maintenance Technician, assisting with the operation of Kotzur Maintenance Services (KMS). You will play an important role in supporting our customers operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintenance inspections on structural and mechanical equipment
  • Repairs, including mechanical, welding and fabrication
  • Relevant documentation completion and management
  • Collaborate within the KMS team to provide excellent client outcomes
  • Executing scheduled maintenance programs that minimise downtime during critical periods, as well as breakdown services and site repairs
  • Undertaking field work and providing comprehensive condition reports on silo and conveyor equipment
  • Bearing inspection and replacement
  • Adjustment of belts and chains
  • Trouble shooting and repairing feed augers, conveyors and bucket elevators
  • Repairing and replacing chutes
  • Minor installation work

Requirements:

  • Trade qualified preferred but not essential - Fitter, Boilermaker, or other mechanical trade
  • Problem solver, can do attitude
  • Great with clients
  • Ability to regularly travel for work, typically away from home 4 nights per week, most weeks
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience in mechanical fitting, repairs and maintenance
  • Attend or work from site in the Toowoomba factory (Kotzur) as needed
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, or have permanent full work rights in Australia
  • Suitable applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment health assessment including a drug and alcohol screening and Police Check
