We are seeking a motivated and technically-minded Field IT Member to join our Onehunga office. This junior-level role focuses on providing essential hands-on IT support and assisting with infrastructure management while working closely with global teams to ensure seamless daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation and a proactive approach to solving hardware and software issues.
Job Responsibility:
Provide L1 and initial L2 on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime
Assist in managing end-user escalations and work with global IT teams to resolve technical issues
Follow established IT security protocols and ensure compliance with internal data protection policies
Set up and provide technical assistance for townhalls and high-profile meetings, including AV equipment and connectivity
Assist with the lifecycle of IT assets, including the deployment, tracking, and organized disposal of hardware and mobile devices
Assist with processing invoices related to IT services and help maintain accurate records of IT assets
Support the Windows Autopilot provisioning process to ensure the smooth deployment of laptops and mobile endpoints
Requirements:
1 year of experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, or a technical service desk role
Strong basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP), and security principles
Familiarity with Windows 10/11, macOS, and mobile platforms like iOS and Android
Practical experience using Microsoft 365, Teams, and OneDrive
Foundational exposure to endpoint management tools such as Intune, SCCM, or Autopilot
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members and end-users
Previous exposure to ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing platforms is highly regarded
Experience working within a multinational or large-scale IT operation is a plus
