Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Field Investigator to join our team in Riverside, California. This direct hire position offers a unique opportunity to combine office-based responsibilities with travel and field assignments, supporting diverse investigations including civil and insurance-related cases. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct interviews with witnesses and subjects to gather relevant information for investigations
  • Perform thorough canvassing of accident scenes and crime sites to collect evidence
  • Investigate claims related to insurance accidents and injuries, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Support legal discovery efforts by assisting individuals with legal paperwork and documentation
  • Identify, collect, and preserve physical evidence crucial to case resolution
  • Conduct stakeouts and surveillance for complex service of process assignments
  • Manage project timelines and ensure all field operations are completed efficiently
  • Perform audits and fieldwork to verify details and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with teams to execute special investigations and resolve challenging cases
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport during fieldwork

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in investigations, law enforcement, paralegal work, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Communications, or a related area is preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple assignments effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with attention to detail
  • Ability to travel extensively for field operations and maintain flexibility in work hours
  • Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
  • Must be located within California and eligible for a Private Investigator license
  • Proficiency in accident investigation, crime scene analysis, and special investigations
