We are looking for a dedicated Field Investigator to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This is a Contract to permanent position offering a dynamic mix of office-based tasks and fieldwork, including travel as needed. The role involves conducting investigations, collecting evidence, and assisting with legal processes, making it ideal for professionals passionate about uncovering details and supporting legal cases.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct interviews with witnesses and subjects to gather critical information
  • Perform detailed canvassing of accident and crime scenes to collect evidence
  • Investigate insurance claims related to accidents and injuries
  • Assist in legal discovery processes and support individuals with necessary paperwork
  • Identify, collect, and preserve physical evidence for use in legal matters
  • Execute stakeouts for complex service of process requirements
  • Manage timelines and coordinate field operations to ensure efficiency
  • Conduct audits and special investigations as required
  • Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive case support
  • Maintain thorough documentation and reporting for all investigative activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in investigations, law enforcement, paralegal work, or a related field
  • A degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage fieldwork and office tasks efficiently
  • Familiarity with accident investigations and crime scene processing
  • Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
  • Must be located in California and available for travel
  • Licensed Private Investigators are preferred, but candidates seeking to qualify for a California Private Investigator license are welcome
