The Field Installation Support is responsible to support the activities on site both during the electromechanical installation and commissioning phase. Specifically, this role requires to be responsible in collecting non-conformity from the job sites and report it to the company for the specific issue resolution and more openly with the target of product improvement and to create efficiency in future installations. This role requires to support also the materials procurement (mechanical, electrical and electronics) that might be missing when machines are delivered, defective or broken. The needs is to support our responsible or technician on site in collecting information, finding codes and tracking the shipments.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate the procurement of materials (missing, broken, defective) and inform the responsible on site and field installation stakeholders defining priorities, needs, and keeping all the project and people up to date
Coordinate the flow of request/needs received from the site about electromechanical issues or spare parts needs and make sure that the right people have been engaged for the right purposes
Coordinate the flow of request, shipment, delivery of spare parts and manage dedicated people assigned to this task
Support in the investigation on non-compliancy issues, proposing solutions, and share the outcome with the technical departments
Interprets mechanical drawings and layouts
Interprets blueprints and electrical schematic drawings
Provides technical support to installation crew from mechanical-electrical standpoint when it comes to need it
Support the Site Manager and installation supervisor in developing assigned project
Requirements:
Degree in the electrical engineering or electro- mechanical field preferred
Experience with Material Handling or Industrial Automation systems required
Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems required
Understanding of hydraulic and electrical schematics required
Expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving complex mechanical-electrical problems
Self-directed, able to prioritize and effectively handle multiple service requests at a time under high pressure and challenging situations
The employee must be able to travel frequently
Experience on financial management
High level of skills on the organizational standpoint
