Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations on job sites
  • Ensure remodeling projects are completed to specification, on time, and within budget
  • Manage subcontractors
  • Enforce quality and safety standards
  • Communicate updates and issues to the Project Manager
  • Perform daily walk-throughs to inspect progress and quality
  • Document daily site activity and share reports
  • Coordinate arrival and task readiness of subcontractors
  • Hold subcontractors accountable for quality and job completion
  • Be a professional point of contact for homeowners
  • Handle questions or minor concerns in the field
  • Monitor and track field work according to project schedule
  • Notify Project Manager of delays or roadblocks
  • Ensure craftsmanship meets standards
  • Confirm material deliveries and inspect for damage
  • Enforce job site safety standards and OSHA compliance
  • Submit Daily Field Reports to the Project Manager
  • Monitor use of company-owned tools and equipment
  • Create and track punch lists
  • Assist with collection of completion photos and warranties

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in residential remodeling or construction
  • Prior team lead or foreman-level experience preferred
  • Familiarity with safety practices and OSHA guidelines
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites
