Job Description:

Field Force Training Manager designs, implements, and evaluates training programs for remote or field-based sales teams to improve performance, product knowledge, and compliance. They analyze training needs, develop materials, conduct in-field coaching, and measure effectiveness through KPIs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create field training strategies, curriculum, and materials (classroom, e-learning, workshops) to support product launches and skill gaps
  • Deliver training sessions to field staff (Medical Representatives, ASMs, etc.) and facilitate onboarding for new hires
  • In-Field Coaching: Accompany field staff on customer visits to coach on sales techniques, product knowledge and service quality
  • Evaluate training effectiveness via surveys, assessments, and performance KPIs
  • Manage the annual training budget and maintain records of training activities
  • Establish and update the sales training roadmap, and follow up learning initiatives or programs to meet the business needs
  • Collaborate with functional heads, identify the skills or competency required to achieve business goals and initiate assessment and analysis to identify capability gap by different level
  • Develop field force training strategy that supports a culture of continuous improvement and learning
  • Anticipate business challenges/needs and communicate with business unit head and field force manager to identify sales training imperatives, design and develop the national training and development strategic and operational plans

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years in training, particularly with field force teams and preferably within a large international pharmaceutical company
  • Strong knowledge of training processes and practices
  • Good knowledge of English (at least intermediate level)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Excellent leadership, presentation and communication skills
