Field Force Training Manager designs, implements, and evaluates training programs for remote or field-based sales teams to improve performance, product knowledge, and compliance. They analyze training needs, develop materials, conduct in-field coaching, and measure effectiveness through KPIs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Job Responsibility:
Create field training strategies, curriculum, and materials (classroom, e-learning, workshops) to support product launches and skill gaps
Deliver training sessions to field staff (Medical Representatives, ASMs, etc.) and facilitate onboarding for new hires
In-Field Coaching: Accompany field staff on customer visits to coach on sales techniques, product knowledge and service quality
Evaluate training effectiveness via surveys, assessments, and performance KPIs
Manage the annual training budget and maintain records of training activities
Establish and update the sales training roadmap, and follow up learning initiatives or programs to meet the business needs
Collaborate with functional heads, identify the skills or competency required to achieve business goals and initiate assessment and analysis to identify capability gap by different level
Develop field force training strategy that supports a culture of continuous improvement and learning
Anticipate business challenges/needs and communicate with business unit head and field force manager to identify sales training imperatives, design and develop the national training and development strategic and operational plans
Requirements:
3-5 years in training, particularly with field force teams and preferably within a large international pharmaceutical company
Strong knowledge of training processes and practices
Good knowledge of English (at least intermediate level)
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and learning management systems (LMS)
Excellent leadership, presentation and communication skills

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field
Availability to travel up to 100% of the time
