Job Description:

The Field Food Specialist is responsible for supervising training and educating store teams on current and new product offerings, ensuring FSQA and HACCP regulatory requirements are met, and addressing issues in stores in real-time. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, coaching under-performing stores, and overseeing new food service projects. The specialist will also conduct trouble-shooting seminars, maintain a database of training sessions, and perform various monitoring and maintenance tasks.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise training and educating store teams on product offerings
Ensure FSQA and HACCP regulatory requirements are met
Supervise new store start-ups and remodels
Address issues in stores in real-time
Conduct trouble-shooting seminars
Act as a central contact person for stores
Collaborate with Category Managers and BU leadership
Coach and monitor under-performing stores
Oversee new food service projects
Maintain a database of training sessions and visits
Develop and facilitate training sessions
Create a cooperative learning environment
Lead training opportunities
Assist with new store start-ups and remodels
Review food and beverage equipment
Monitor temperature and time to standards
Assess cleanliness of store areas
Evaluate stocking and inventory supply
Review store health requirements
Complete detailed itemized reports
Perform monthly preventative maintenance tasks
Calibrate dispensing machines
Review signage and promotional material
Supervise special projects

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred
Sit for long periods of time
Operate computer keyboard and mouse for data entry
View computer monitor
Hear and speak via telephone
Reach forward and/or overhead
Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
