Job Description:

The Field Food Service Specialist is responsible for supervising and implementing foodservice training, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, addressing on-site issues, and conducting evaluations to maintain food safety and quality assurance standards across assigned stores.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise training and educating store teams on current and new product offerings
ensure FSQA and HACCP regulatory requirements are met
supervise new store start-ups and remodels for foodservice
address issues in stores in real-time
provide solutions during visits
monitor food safe-quality assurance functions
conduct trouble-shooting seminars
act as a central contact for food service category questions
collaborate with Category Managers, BU leadership, and store leadership
coach and monitor under-performing stores
oversee new food service projects
maintain a database of training sessions and visits
develop and facilitate training sessions
create a cooperative learning environment
lead training opportunities
review food and beverage equipment and cleanliness of stores
evaluate stock and inventory supply related to food safety
review store health requirement compliance
assist stores with necessary improvements
complete detailed reports on store condition
perform monthly preventative maintenance tasks
calibrate dispensing machines
review signage and promotional material
oversee special projects as required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred
must be able to sit for long periods
ability to operate computer keyboard and mouse for data entry
ability to view computer monitor
ability to hear and speak via telephone
ability to reach forward and/or overhead
occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
