Job Description

Field Food Service Specialist position responsible for supervising training and education of store teams on food service products, ensuring FSQA and HACCP regulatory requirements are met, conducting store visits for quality assurance monitoring, and collaborating with various stakeholders to maximize growth of the Foodservice category.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise training and educating store teams on product offerings with emphasis on Food Safety and Quality Assurance
  • Supervise new store start-ups and remodels for Foodservice
  • Address issues in stores in real-time and provide immediate solutions
  • Visit all assigned stores on set schedule for food safe-quality assurance monitoring
  • Conduct trouble-shooting seminars for equipment and process issues
  • Act as central contact person for stores regarding food service categories
  • Collaborate with Category Managers, BU leadership, store leadership, Food Service vendors and merchant experts
  • Coach and monitor under-performing stores for improvement
  • Partner with District Managers for market opportunities and needs
  • Oversee new food service projects based on BU initiatives
  • Maintain database of all training sessions and visits
  • Develop and facilitate training sessions addressing training gaps
