This position involves innovating food service operations, leading teams, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, training on food safety, and impacting store sales positively through merchandising programs and training deliverables. The role also includes monitoring compliance, preparing budgets, and implementing continual improvement processes.
Job Responsibility:
Innovates the Circle K brand through strategic problem-solving efforts
Collaborate with Marketing team, BU leadership, store leadership, and subject matter experts
Leads a team of Quality Food Trainers
Integrates standards that promote food safety and HACCP standards
Ensures operational compliance with requirements
Advises Operations of needed actions
Provides Food Safety Management Certification (ServSafe) training and testing
Cultivates a safe and secure working environment
Monitors and communicates progress related to all FFF deliverables
Evaluates training activities and programs effectiveness
Recommends changes by evaluating results and competitive developments
Maximizes store sales by directing and assisting Operations
Utilizes reports to conduct training needs assessments
Assists team members toward achieving financial objectives
Maintains project schedules and resolves problems
Provides effective communication to Operations and development team
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results
Responds to inquiries related to projects
Performs multiple tasks in fast paced environment
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted
Preferred 3-5 years of retail/food-service management experience
Experience in food program creation and implementation of significant scale
Must demonstrate strong leadership ability, good communication skills, be self-directed and have a “continuous improvement” mindset
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to create P&L structure, calculate the ROI of projects with substantial complexity
Food Safety and HACCP operational skills
SERVSAFE® Manager Certified
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred project management experience in a c-store/marketing/or food service environment
Experience with the implementation and quality assurance of food service operations
A current valid driver’s license is required to operate a company vehicle
