As a Field Engineering apprentice, you’ll be right at the frontline of our network, installing and maintaining cutting‑edge fixed line and mobile equipment, tackling faults at speed, and keeping the UK connected. You’ll help Vodafone Three deliver a seamless, high‑performing network, disruption-free.
Job Responsibility:
Build hands‑on technical skills from day one, supporting and maintaining the mobile network infrastructure and fixed‑line equipment
Get fully immersed in field work, from manual handling to walking long distances and working across a variety of indoor and outdoor environments
Grow your capability through continuous learning – develop your electrical and diagnostic skills while exploring future‑focused technologies such as drone operation and advanced network equipment
Work safely at heights, including on rooftops and ladders up to 3 metres
Take ownership of your work as you progress, manage your own schedule, work independently, and make a real impact by solving technical challenges, boosting network performance, and keeping customers connected
Requirements:
Put safety first, always making smart choices and keeping yourself and your colleagues safe
Enjoy figuring things out, whether that’s solving problems or learning new technical skills
Happy to travel as required with a flexible attitude to working hours, and ability to work safely at heights
Hold a clean driving license
Hold GCSE English & Maths at Grade 4/C or above by September 2026
