Job Description

As a Field Engineer focused on welding and NDT activities, you will oversee critical quality assurance tasks, ensuring construction activities align with contractual and safety requirements. You will Identify and mitigate potential quality issues, supporting on-time project delivery.

Job Responsibility

  • Submit and document non-conformance reports as needed
  • Review and monitor Quality Control Plans and Inspection Records
  • Evaluate contractor performance and adherence to standards
  • Contribute to health, safety, and environmental objectives across site operations
  • Ensure documentation and reporting align with regulatory and quality requirements

Requirements

  • Welding Inspector qualification (CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent as a minimum)
  • Current or previous qualifications in multiple NDT methods
  • Experience in construction involving fabrication and installation of pressure systems and structural steel
  • Fully conversant with British/European standards and design codes including RCC-M and BS EN
  • Proven QA/QC experience and ability to document findings concisely and accurately
  • Strong organisational, delegation, and communication skills
