Job Description:

ESI’s DoW SkillBridge Field Engineer Program provides a hands-on opportunity designed to transition Active Duty Service Members into the commercial construction industry through real-world jobsite experience. Participants support active construction projects by assisting Superintendents and site teams with daily operations, field documentation, subcontractor coordination, safety enforcement, quality control, and schedule support while upholding ESI’s standards for safety and quality. The program combines on-the-job training with structured instruction led by experienced field leadership, providing exposure to construction fundamentals, drawings, RFIs, site layout, materials management, and jobsite leadership.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support active construction projects by assisting Superintendents and site teams with daily operations, field documentation, subcontractor coordination, safety enforcement, quality control, and schedule support while upholding ESI’s standards for safety and quality

Requirements:

  • Must be an Active Duty Service member in the United States Military
  • Must be approved, or be able to attain approval, for a 60-90 day minimum SkillBridge opportunity
