Field Engineer role in customer engineering for fibre-optic broadband installations, involving pre-enablement and final installation works, with a focus on health, safety, and customer service.
Job Responsibility:
Delivery of the allocated work programmes, working with stakeholders to deliver on time, safely and to standard
Trouble shoot, diagnose and carry out installations
Providing a first-class customer service
Ensure management of any customer complaints, working to resolve any issues in a timely manner
Responsibility for their own and teams’ assurance across quality and Health & Safety standards
Pre-enablement works include surveying and checking line of site from pole to house, ensuring fibre access from terminal point at house boundary to property and resolution of minor faults
Final installation works, running fibre from final distribution point (UG or OH) to end customer premises and all internal install works
