Job Description

The Field Development Group (FDG) is part of the Sales & Marketing team and is responsible for managing and coordinating study activity throughout the early development stages including: Concept Screening and Feasibility studies, Concept Select, FEED / Design Competition. The Field development Group is also taking an integral part in supporting the WIN effort in the short, medium and long term, therefore shaping the future direction of Subsea7.

Job Responsibility

  • Defining the systems and solutions of our clients prospect in conjunction with our S&M team
  • Delivery of technical and/or economic studies related to SURF, R&D or energy transition
  • Supporting our pursuit team in assessing our prospects (e.g. constructability, execution plan, budget estimate, competitor analysis)
  • Coordinating its activities with other specialized functions involved (Engineering, SCM, Pipeline Group…)
  • Supporting the development of our Front End Planning tools.

Requirements

  • A proven understanding of SURF Field Development drivers (Architecture, Systems, Operations)
  • Good knowledge of offshore installation challenges and drivers (for O&G and/or offshore wind)
  • Experience in interfacing with a multi disciplinary team would be preferred
  • Knowledge of Energy Transition solutions including CCUS and Renewables is desirable but not essential
  • Degree qualified in relevant discipline related to the subsea engineering environment, or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Good communication skills, oral, written, and electronic
  • Able to demonstrate a flexible and collaborative approach to engaging across organizational groups and regions
  • Commercial and business strategy interest
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn with ability to adapt and develop new skillsets.
