Field Construction Manager position responsible for achieving financial objectives, ensuring quality control, complying with legal requirements, improving construction efficiency, and managing staff while maintaining professional knowledge and contributing to team efforts.
Job Responsibility:
Achieves financial objectives by assisting with selecting and bidding to qualified contractors
Assures company quality control expectations are met by completing pre-construction, interim, and final inspections
Complies with legal and company requirements by enforcing building codes
Improves efficiency of construction process by evaluating construction documents, policies and procedures
Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting and orienting employees
Maintains staff job results by training coaching, counseling and disciplining employees
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
Five years of experience or more preferred
Minimum of two years of management responsibility
Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred
Sit for long periods of time
Operate computer keyboard and mouse for data entry
View computer monitor
Hear and speak via telephone
Reach forward and/or overhead
Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Nice to have:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field
