Field Category Manager position responsible for local assortment, planogram execution, vendor relationships, pricing decisions, and operational reporting to achieve financial targets and support national/regional strategic objectives.

Supports national and regional strategic direction
Responsible for local assortment and planogram execution
Owns frontline pricing decisions
Responsible for vendor operations and local relationships
Responsible for planogram implementation and resets
Responsible for actionable operational reporting
Selects local vendors and negotiates costs
Develops promotional concepts and overlay programs

Supports pilots/testing activities
Establishes and monitors gross margins
Projects and measures category sales and gross profit results
Maintains external vendor relations
Achieves financial objectives by preparing annual category review and budget
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in advertising, business, or related field preferred
Five years of experience or more preferred
Minimum of three years of management responsibility
Expertise in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Strong relationship management, analytical thinking, and financial acumen skills
