As a Connected Vehicle Specialist, you will ensure the seamless connectivity of next-generation smart cars. You will be the vital technical bridge between our R&D Headquarters and the engineering teams of European automotive giants. Deep-Dive Troubleshooting: You’ll be the detective for complex 4G/5G connectivity issues; Strategic Technical Liaison: manage high-priority (P1/P2) incidents; Technical Consulting: attend monthly OEM steering meetings; Product Evolution: introduce latest IoV platforms; Future-Proofing Processes: oversee incident management workflow (Jira).

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the seamless connectivity of next-generation smart cars
  • Be the vital technical bridge between our R&D Headquarters and the engineering teams of European automotive giants
  • Deep-Dive Troubleshooting: collect signaling logs on-site, analyze network behavior, and reproduce issues using advanced testing tools
  • Strategic Technical Liaison: manage high-priority (P1/P2) incidents, ensuring clear communication between the OEM customers and our domestic development teams
  • Technical Consulting: attend monthly OEM steering meetings, present performance reports, and identify pain points that our R&D team can turn into new features
  • Product Evolution: introduce our latest IoV platforms to customers, gathering requirements that will shape the future of our product roadmap
  • Future-Proofing Processes: oversee the incident management workflow (Jira), helping to automate data anonymization and streamline support operations

Requirements:

  • Solid grasp of 4G/5G network architecture and signaling flows (Data, Voice, SMS)
  • Experience with protocol analyzers (e.g., Wireshark) is essential
  • You understand how a car talks to the cloud. Experience with T-Box, Telematics, or automotive connectivity is a huge plus
  • You are comfortable presenting technical solutions and writing business emails in English
  • You are a driver of solutions, not just a reporter of bugs. You can navigate complex corporate environments (OEMs) with confidence

  • Carry out advanced 12‑volt electrical work, including power and ignition connections, relays, fusing, harness routing and integration with OEM and specialist systems
  • Use appropriate hand and power tools safely and correctly, ensuring tidy and secure installations suitable for emergency and specialist vehicles
  • Configure and test installed systems to confirm correct operation and connectivity
  • Verify GPS/telematics functions, inputs/outputs and communication with back‑office platforms, resolving issues where possible on‑site
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior technical support where required, providing clear information on findings
  • Diagnose and resolve faults in 12‑volt vehicle electrical systems related to installations, including wiring faults, poor grounds, blown fuses and parasitic drains
  • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades and removal/re‑installation of systems as required
  • Work largely unsupervised in the field, managing your own schedule and prioritising jobs effectively
