Job Description

As a Fibre Project Manager, you will oversee all day-to-day operations within the communications division on specifically assigned projects and/or framework contracts that provide Fibre Optic installations and maintenance to the Telecoms industry.

Job Responsibility

  • Attend pre and post tender meetings and provide feedback to the estimating department
  • Attend company progress reviews and operational meetings
  • Regular site visits and progress reviews with designated Project Managers
  • Promote and implement company policies and procedures
  • Promote the services of the business whilst carrying out your duties to assist in creating new business
  • Show leadership, management, development and motivational skills
  • Maintain an up to date understanding of technical, contractual and commercial developments

Requirements

  • CITB or equivalent in site safety management
  • CSCS and/or EURS card
  • Minimum 5 years in similar management position
  • Minimum 10 years in telecommunication industry (advantageous if in Fibre Optic installation services)
  • Competent use of MS Office and Fibre test emulation software
