Job Description

The company are seeking multiple candidates to join their fast growing Fibre Planning team, who will be responsible for all Fibre Network Planning and GIS activity. Reporting directly to the Head of Planning, you will be instrumental in making decisions regarding how and where the future network is deployed.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of all aspects of fibre planning, build and PIA
  • Understand and produce detailed industry-standard level of survey, installation and as-built documentation
  • Knowledge and understanding of lit fibre services
  • FTTP methodologies and design
  • Civils and Cable Planning Knowledge
  • Ability to draw together different technical disciplines
  • Experience with GIS systems
  • Experience of PIA projects
  • Planning knowledge to 3rd Party sites
  • Knowledge on PON planning in underground and overhead delivery
  • Hands on fibre planning experience for a minimum of 1+ years
  • Detailed understanding of GIS systems
  • Strong preference for direct PIA experience
