Job Responsibility

  • Planning and designing of fiber infrastructure (backbone, FTTx, Access, etc.) for new build, extension, customer connection and customised solutions
  • Planning and designing fiber passive network Low & High level design including fiber core planning
  • Support presales activities related with fiber services, provides necessary outputs and analysis to sales teams
  • Defining the Fiber investments Budget that is required in the network in line with the Company Strategy – Taking in to account the marketing and sales forecasts and requirements. Starts and follows up purchase procedures
  • Contribute feasibility analysis and fiber related business model studies
  • Works across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaboration and alignment for shared goals
  • Developing and defining standards, concepts and guidelines for passive fibre network. Write technical specs for equipment and services
  • Oversee the performance, KPIs and reliability of the fiber network. Initiate necessary actions when needed. Asses threats for new fiber projects
  • Collect info about beneficial fiber coverage areas from the Business teams to develop new projects proactively. Contribute in developing new fiber projects and feasibility analysis
  • new fiber related business model studies
  • Contribute in developing / improving / redesign business processes
  • Audit of all implementations, guidances and Rule of Thumb implementations
  • Use necessary management, inventory and work flow tools (GIS-Telcordia, Atoll, Maximo, Next, etc) to ensure that the quality of each deliverable is of the highest standard and accurate

Requirements

  • Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering/Computer Engineering/ Geomatic Engineering, BSc
  • MSc/MBA degree preferred
  • Effective presentation skills and public speaking skills required
  • Have an excellent command of English is required
  • Knowledge of fibre optic technology and passive networks overall preferred
