Job Description:

The role focuses on developing technical network and service architectures for T-Mobile's Fiber portfolio, including tasks like creating schematics, adapting design strategies, performing validation tests, and presenting new technological solutions. This position also involves supervising associate engineers, writing technical documentation, and contributing to industry forums.

Job Responsibility:

  • Understand system protocols, how systems operate and data flows
  • Independently complete appropriate network and service architecture, design strategies and standards
  • Supervise associate engineers and validate procedures to enhance network architecture
  • Present new ideas which improve an existing system/process/service
  • Participate in lab and field trial activities to support Proof of Concept
  • Evaluate technologies and present results within organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 2 year of technical engineering experience
  • In-depth knowledge of telecommunications with a focus on FTTH, XGS-PON, ACS’s, API’s
  • Familiarity of Oracle Cloud applications, BSS/OSS operations, Salesforce along with a strong knowledge of industry standards and automation
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
