  • Prepares and forwards the Embryology Laboratory Charges Report to the billing specialists at the end of each IVF procedure. Maintains all inventories of cryopreserved embryos by maintaining Cryopreserved Embryo Logs, AMG Cryopreserved Embryo Inventory Cards and Cryopreserved Embryo Billing Inventory Reports. Maintains and updates all patient files and paperwork concerning IVF procedures. Counsels patients, obtain patient consent to different procedures and answer their questions regarding the laboratory aspects of IVF care
  • Enters patient and cycle information into appropriate database and electronically transmits data to Society for Advanced Reproductive Technology (SART) in a timely manner. Enters data into the infertility data system (IDS) and maintains up to date electronic records of all aspects of the IDS
  • Assists in preparing for the College of American Pathologists (CAP) inspections
  • Acts as a lab and department resource and role model to employees, which includes training/orienting and providing day-to-day work direction. Assigns, monitors, and reviews progress and accuracy of work, monitors productivity, maintains appropriate staffing levels, directs efforts, and provides guidance on more complex issues
