Job Description:

Entry Level position as a Fertiliser Plant Operator with this fixed term opportunity to gain skills and experience in creating sustainable agricultural products at our Oonooie operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operating biodunder (fertiliser) pumping equipment
  • Ensuring the safe, efficient movement and batching of liquid fertilisers and stockfeed
  • Safely and efficiently operate fertiliser pumping equipment, ensuring all procedures are followed to maintain high safety and environmental standards
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, handle equipment checklists, and ensure the smooth running of plant operations in both in-crush and out-of-crush seasons
  • Work closely with the production team, liaising with internal and external parties to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to specifications

Requirements:

  • Experience in operator roles within a manufacturing or fertiliser processing environment (desirable but not required)
  • Physically fit and able to handle demanding work
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred, SAP experience advantageous)
  • Folk lift license (desirable) or are willing to obtain
  • Committed to adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards
