How would it feel to know that your work truly changes lives? As a Support Worker at Affinity Trust, you will make a meaningful difference every day by helping people live the life they choose - full of confidence, independence, and opportunity. No two days are the same; one day you might be supporting a trip to the supermarket, the next encouraging someone to try a new hobby, all while empowering individuals to build independence, make choices, and feel confident being themselves. You will be supporting a lady who enjoys cooking - especially baking biscuits! As well as visits to the trampoline park and the farm. Experience supporting people with autism, whether personally or professionally, is essential, along with resilience, confidence and a caring approach. A full UK driving licence (automatic) is required, as you will be using the person's own vehicle to support her in accessing activities. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed to support people with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs. Most importantly, we value kindness, positive energy, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
