Thera North has an exciting opportunity available for a Female Support Worker to join our team based in Darlington, Durham. You will join us on a permanent basis with full-time or part-time hours available. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £13.00 per hour. Additional Information: Full UK manual driving licence is essential, Experience required due to the complexity of the person supported. We are looking for a kind, confident and experienced Female Support Worker to join a small, dedicated support team for a lady living in Darlington. This is a lovely opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference and build a meaningful working relationship with the person they support. The role would suit someone who is calm, reliable, patient and confident when providing person-centred support. The lady requires staff who can provide consistent, skilled and compassionate support. Due to the complexity of her needs, previous experience in a Support Worker or care role is essential. She enjoys arts and crafts, being creative and having lots of friendly chats, so we would love to hear from someone who can bring warmth, patience, creativity and positive energy to her day. About the role The successful candidate will be supporting with: Person-centred daily living support; Positive Behaviour Support approaches; Moving and handling; Community access and meaningful activities; Supporting independence, dignity and choice; Driving the person's mobility vehicle. Shift pattern Shifts may include: Long day shifts, such as 08:00–22:00; Overnight sleep-in shifts are included within this role; Evenings and weekends as part of a rota.
