Job Description

As a Support Worker, it’s about helping people live their best lives - in the ways they choose to. We support both men and women with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, and physical disabilities within shared accommodation. Day to day, this may include accompanying individuals on their weekly food shop, supporting them to attend local community groups, encouraging social connections with family and friends, or simply sharing enjoyment of their favourite music.

Job Responsibility

  • Enabling individuals to live as independently as possible
  • Supporting individuals in a person-centred way tailored to their unique needs and preferences
  • Accompanying individuals on their weekly food shop
  • Supporting individuals to attend local community groups
  • Encouraging social connections with family and friends
  • Sharing enjoyment of favourite music

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • PVG check (paid for by us)
  • Compassion and willingness to make a difference
