Job Description:

You’ll be supporting four individuals, three of whom have autism, within a small supported living service in a rural setting near Durham. Experience with complex needs and alternative communication methods would be beneficial. You may support individuals with: Autism, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Behaviours of concern.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support individuals with daily activities while promoting independence and choice, including personal care, cooking & meal preparation, shopping & finances, household tasks
  • Help people enjoy life through activities such as walks in quiet locations, day trips (e.g. coast), arts & crafts, cinema, bowling & baking, music & relaxation
