Job Description:

We currently have a great opportunity for dedicated Support Workers to work with an individual who has a learning Disability and autism and mental health support needs within the CORNWALL area. CROSS PACKAGE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: TR13 & PL31 (MUST DRIVE). The individual will be living on their own so we are looking for Autism Support Workers who can provide 360 wrap around support that covers all aspects of their life throughout the day and night.

Job Responsibility:

Provide 360 wrap around support covering all aspects of life throughout the day and night
Come to work to 'Get to know me' as that is what is needed to support them
Deliver amazing person-centred care

Requirements:

Provide support during good times and difficult periods
Have a good understanding of Autism/Mental Health and how this can impact daily living or have worked in a mental health setting
Understand Autism or have had experience working with Autistic people
Be a positive advocate
Be consistent
Be prepared to motivate in a supportive manner
Be patient and understanding
Have a fun and kind personality
Work to solve issues and overcome day to day tasks
Work as part of a team
Think outside the box
Be able to have a laugh and joke but have set standards and boundaries
Driving Licence (MUST)
