Job Description:

Supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs aged 16-45 to live a meaningful life. Providing opportunities to grow, develop new skills, and explore interests and experiences in community settings and homes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals
  • Help plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning, and running errands
  • Assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication
  • Help plan and participate in days out
  • Support people to become more independent

Requirements:

  • A full UK drivers licence
  • A caring attitude with a passion for supporting others
  • A team player
  • Resilience
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Previous experience with mental health needs
  • Must be female due to the needs of the service
