Supporting people to live great lives. At Affinity Trust, we empower people to lead meaningful lives on their own terms. As a support worker, you will play a key role in promoting independence and building social connections. Your support will make a real difference in their lives. Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. We believe in support that makes a meaningful difference, because what we do matters. Who will I support? Our Outreach team in Sheffield supports over 15 people living in their own homes. We’re looking for flexible, open-minded, and resilient individuals who enjoy new activities and are passionate about helping others engage with their community. Being adaptable is key to thriving in this role. Some of the people we support enjoy going swimming and love animals, so individuals who share these interests would be a great fit. Shifts range from 3 to 15 hours and the typical shift patterns are between 07:30am – 22:00 and will include working weekdays and alternate weekends. If you’re ready to make a positive impact, we’d love to hear from you!
