Female Support Worker - Nights 36hrs. Pay: £17.00 per hour. Refer a Friend Scheme - £250 awarded (T&C's apply). We are currently recruiting Full Time Female Support Workers to support an individual with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and Anorexia Nervosa within the Egremont area. Understand that these diagnoses do not define the individual. Please note we are not a recruitment agency. Role Description: We are committed to Equal Opportunities. We currently have a great opportunity for dedicated Female Support Workers to work with an individual who has Dissociative identity disorder and Anorexia Nervosa. The individual will be living on their own, so we are looking for Support Workers who can provide 360 wrap-around support that covers all aspects of her life throughout the day and night. In addition, Support Workers with mental health experience are preferred, as well as those who like animals and are fit and able to walk in excess of 6 miles per day as part of the daily routine.
Job Responsibility:
Provide support during both the good times and the difficult periods our individual faces in daily life
Provide 360 wrap-around support that covers all aspects of her life throughout the day and night
Be able to deliver personal care requirements
Work as part of a team that delivers amazing person-centred care

Get to know the individual to provide meaningful support and guidance in all aspects of everyday living
Requirements:
Must be comfortable around animals as part of daily activities
Must be fit and able to walk in excess of 6 miles per day as part of the individual's active lifestyle
Be able to deliver personal care requirements
Be patient, understanding, and encouraging on the difficult days
Have a fun and kind personality and encourage activities
Work together to solve issues and overcome day-to-day tasks
Come to work to "Get to know me", as that is what is needed to provide meaningful support and guidance in all aspects of everyday living
Work as part of a team that delivers amazing person-centred care
Think outside the box and show creativity in your approach
Show kindness and understand the processing time it may take for information to be understood
Be able to have a laugh and a joke but also maintain clear standards and boundaries
Give the individual space and time and be respectful of their wishes
Have a good understanding of Mental health and complexities that arise with it, an understanding of Anorexia Nervosa, and how these can impact daily living
Understanding of Dissociative identity disorder

Be prepared to motivate in a supportive manner
