Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, compassionate, and proactive female Senior Support Worker to join our Supported Living team in the Nottingham NG8 area. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, champions person‑centred care, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred support to adults with disabilities, complex needs, and mental health conditions
  • Assist with daily tasks including medication, cooking, cleaning, record‑keeping, and audits
  • Provide emotional, practical, and proactive support
  • Encourage individuals to access the community and engage in meaningful activities
  • Build strong, trusting relationships that promote independence
  • Support individuals with personal goals, skills development, and hobbies
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with care plans and regulations
  • Lead by example to maintain exceptional care standards
  • Support the Team Leader with daily shift coordination
  • Assist colleagues with guidance, training, and audit requirements
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Senior Support Worker supporting individuals with complex mental health needs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong time‑management and organisational abilities
  • Confidence working both independently and within a team
  • A compassionate, resilient, and proactive approach
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviours and conflict
  • Basic IT competency and confidence completing administrative tasks

Nice to have:

  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
