Overview of the role: You’ll be responsible for teaching students from various ages and abilities the importance of physical activity and promoting healthy lifestyles. You’ll also be involved in organising and leading extra-curricular activities such as sports teams, fitness clubs, and other events that promote physical education. The right candidate will have: Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification; Relevant specialist qualifications and experience (e.g a degree in Sports Science or similar); Ability to deliver engaging PE lessons and promote a love for a range of sports and physical activities; Understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for PE; Enthusiasm and commitment to extra-curricular PE activities for the enrichment of learners and the wider school community.
