Requirements

A genuine passion for supporting people to live their best lives
Patience, empathy and great communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
Experience with PBS or a strong willingness to be trained
A person-centred approach — always putting the individual first
The ability to work as part of a consistent and committed team
A full UK driving licence (essential)
Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or complex health conditions is desirable
Knowledge with supporting health-related needs such as diabetes management (training provided)

Job Responsibility

Support in every aspect of daily living — from shopping and meal preparation, attending appointments, and maintaining her home environment
Support to care for and enjoy time with her dog, including dog walks, feeding routines
Assist in safely engaging in caring responsibilities
Use Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches

Job Responsibility

Monitoring the individuals during the night to ensure their safety and well-being
Providing support when needed, including assisting with night-time care routines
Responding to emergencies or incidents that may arise during the night
Maintaining a calm and secure environment, helping to create a peaceful atmosphere for the individuals
Assisting with light domestic tasks as required, such as tidying and cleaning communal areas
Recording incidents or changes in the individuals' condition and ensuring accurate documentation is kept
Working independently throughout the night, maintaining vigilance and attention to detail
