We are currently recruiting bank Support Workers to support an individual within the BODMIN area. We are committed to Equal opportunities. We currently have a great opportunity for dedicated Support Workers to work with an individual who has learning disability / autism / mental health support needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support an individual with learning disability/autism/mental health support needs throughout the day and night
  • Work to get to know the individual as that is what is needed to support them

Requirements:

  • Provide support during good times and difficult periods
  • Have a good understanding of Autism/Mental Health and how this can impact daily living or have experience working in a mental health setting
  • Understand Autism or have experience working with Autistic people
  • Be a positive advocate
  • Be consistent
  • Be prepared to motivate in a supportive manner
  • Be patient and understanding
  • Have a fun and kind personality
  • Work to solve issues and overcome day to day tasks
  • Work as part of a team delivering person-centred care
