Job Description:

As a Feller Buncher Operator at Ricci's Group of Companies, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a feller buncher to efficiently harvest timber. You are supported by a large experienced mechanical team and 24 hour support staff. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a strong willingness to work.

Job Responsibility:

Operate feller buncher equipment to cut and gather trees for processing
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members and adhere to instructions from supervisors to meet production targets
Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues on-site

Requirements:

Proven experience operating feller buncher machines or similar heavy equipment
Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery
Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety practices
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Nice to have:

Certification or training in operating feller bunchers
Organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines
