Job Description:

Keep critical operations running at full strength. As a Maintenance Mechanic in our feedmill, you’ll perform preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and rapid emergency response to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient production. Your hands on expertise will support the reliability of essential feedmill equipment, helping maintain consistent operations and product quality. This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy troubleshooting, working with complex machinery, and making a direct impact on daily production performance

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform preventive maintenance as assigned which includes but is not limited to fabrication, rebuilding of machinery, gearboxes, pumps, etc
  • Document work on work orders as appropriate
  • Respond to emergency breakdown during both on and off duty hours to ensure operation continuity on a 24-hour a day basis
  • Generates and submits paperwork related to work location such as work orders timecards, and any related to meetings, safety, etc
  • Perform all equipment repairs and daily work within OSHA regulation, lockout/tag-out, and Perdue safety book guidelines

Requirements:

  • Reading, Writing, Math and Analytical skills
  • Ability to move through the facility and carry required equipment, tools which could weigh as much as 100lbs
  • Must wear required safety equipment

Nice to have:

High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required
