Job Responsibility

  • Serve as a positive representation of Heritage Cooperative’s Core Values
  • Provide Superior Customer Service
  • Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
  • Attentively keep accurate packing records
  • Maintain inventory of empty pallets, stretch film and netting
  • Operate forklift from palletizer to loading and warehouse
  • Operate palletizer, stretch wrapper and forklift for packing line
  • Participate in an open line of communication between supervisor and coworkers regarding any shortages on shipping orders
  • Represent company values while training incoming employees
  • Strive to keep work area clean and organized
  • Supply production with pallets, bags and pallet sheets
  • Unload trucks and verify items with manifest
  • Verify date code and product description prior to loading
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements

  • Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or carry heavy objects no more than 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
  • Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc
  • Outstanding Organizational and Time-Management Skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Respectable Mechanical Skills

Nice to have

  • Valid Driver's License, with acceptable driving record
  • Forklift Certified
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous Feed Experience
