The primary role for this position is to manage and be responsible for the daily operations of the MICRO Feed Ingredient ration record change process for both feedlot and dairy Micro Weigh System (MWS) customers by conversing with facility owners, managers as well as their consulting nutritionists and veterinarians. This position requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of medicated feeds including their proper use and inclusion into feed in order to meet FDA cGMP regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Manage daily operations of the Customer Cost Sheet / Ration Record System
Conveys technical information concerning drug levels for programming the MWS to Sales/Service Representatives
Responsible for daily management of customer Feed Ingredient pricing schedules
Consults with feed yard & dairy customers and their nutritionist / veterinarians to determine correct feeding levels
Provide and explain Feed Ingredient Master Formulas
Coordinate & train other Feed Ingredient team members to review MWS Ration Print Outs
Manage all micro ingredient product price changes for USA and Canada
Review for accuracy the drug level changes made by the Micro Serviceman
Manage & oversee Master Formula retention in Customer FDA Drug Files
Review micro ingredient product pricing changes
Analyze for accuracy the customer FDA Drug File and provide updates
Oversee for accuracy all micro ingredient product Blue Bird labeling
Develops and Maintains a Feed Ingredient Product Technical database
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in animal science, animal nutrition, agriculture, or related field is preferred
Associate’s degree/Two years of college + Two (2) years of related work experience OR four (4) years of related work experience can be in place of a Bachelor’s degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Proven customer service skills
Knowledge of the livestock animal health industry is preferred
Two plus years of administrative support, including experience in accounting is required
High School diploma required
