Job Description

As a Federal Systems Integrator Leader at HPE, you will be at the forefront of advancing national security, government, and defense initiatives. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping strategic partnerships, driving innovative solutions, and delivering exceptional results for our federal customers. Your Role: As a key leader, you will guide our federal sales community to success by setting clear strategic direction aligned with HPE's vision and mission. You will inspire and develop a high-performing team, orchestrate large-scale enterprise-level engagements, and foster trusted relationships with federal stakeholders, including senior government officials. You will manage the full sales lifecycle—from identifying opportunities and building early-stage relationships with top government executives to closing complex deals that meet technical, budgetary, and strategic goals. Your expertise will enable your team to craft tailored IT investments, solutions, and pricing strategies that align with federal mission priorities.

  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and deepen relationships with federal agency executives (CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, etc.) to understand their mission objectives, challenges, and technology needs

  • Manage escalations and create opportunities by building trust, demonstrating value, and acting as a reliable partner
  • Foster cross-team collaboration within HPE (channels, product groups, legal, policy teams) to maximize customer success and operational efficiency
  • Business Management and Growth: Develop and execute targeted sales strategies that address the unique procurement, compliance, and security requirements of federal customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • advanced degrees or certifications in relevant fields are a plus
  • 10+ years of experience in federal sales, business development, or systems integration, with a proven track record of winning large, complex government contracts
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing teams within the federal sector
  • Security Clearance required
  • Deep understanding of federal procurement processes, compliance standards, and security protocols
  • Expertise in federal IT priorities, including cloud, cybersecurity, data center modernization, and advanced infrastructure solutions
