Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Federal Litigation Attorney to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a barred attorney with substantial federal court litigation expertise, particularly in discovery management and motion practice. You will play a pivotal role in advancing complex litigation matters during critical phases of discovery and evidentiary preparation.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute strategies for drafting and supporting arguments related to motions, including evidentiary challenges
  • Manage all aspects of discovery processes, ensuring compliance with court deadlines and pushing opposing counsel for timely document production
  • Draft, revise, and respond to motions in federal court, focusing on issues such as expert challenges and document production disputes
  • Coordinate and oversee document review processes, working closely with internal teams to meet discovery deliverables
  • Monitor case timelines and filings, ensuring adherence to procedural requirements and deadlines
  • Prepare for and support evidentiary hearings, including expert-related challenges and Daubert motions

Requirements

  • Must have an active Bar license in good standing (Ideally CA Barred)
  • Extensive experience in federal court litigation, with a background in discovery and motion practice
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Daubert motions and expert evidentiary challenges
  • Strong understanding of federal discovery rules and document production litigation
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior writing, organizational, and communication skills
  • Civil litigation expertise, including drafting motions and managing law and motion workflows
