As a Federal Contracts Manager, you will provide full life cycle (“cradle-to-grave”) U.S. Federal contract management of Microsoft’s direct-to-government cloud contracts. Job Responsibility

  • Evaluate solicitations, terms and conditions, and provide insight into contract obligations
  • Administer FAR Part 12 and 8 contracts, process contract modifications, and monitor compliance with required contract reporting
  • Ensure compliance with Microsoft policies/procedures as well as government and contract requirements
  • Participate in proposal development, including writing relevant proposal portions and serving as a reviewer
  • Manage the subcontractor compliance program. Obtain customer approvals for subcontractors and execute flowdown terms and conditions.
  • Understand commercial cloud contract concepts and unique risks.
  • Visit client sites and meet with business partners in the Washington DC region

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
  • Verification of U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 12+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience in federal contract and subcontract management with direct experience negotiating FAR/DFAR/GSAR terms OR equivalent experience
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly
  • Demonstrated experience managing commercial cloud contracts
