We are seeking a Business Development and Capture Lead to drive strategic growth within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Civilian Agencies. This is a senior-level individual contributor role focused on mastering the complexities of federal procurement, building CXO-level relationships, and leading cross-functional teams to win major programs.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive the end-to-end capture process for large-scale government programs (DoD/Civilian), including Defense Contractor-led (DoW) initiatives
  • Execute "Bid/No-Bid" frameworks and craft differentiated value propositions that align Wiz solutions with specific agency missions
  • Develop and maintain a high-level network of agency stakeholders and CXO-level decision-makers to influence procurement requirements
  • Monitor federal bid boards and intelligence tools to align pipeline generation with broader regional sales goals
  • Ensure a seamless handoff from capture to execution, maintaining accountability for the initial success of the program delivery
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to provide "voice of the customer" feedback from the federal sector to refine sales playbooks

Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven success capturing and closing large-scale federal programs within the SaaS, Cloud, or Cybersecurity space
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, federal budgeting cycles, and the nuances of DoD vs. Civilian procurement
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations and close high-value contracts
  • Experience leveraging channel and alliance partners (GSIs, Boutique Federal firms) to increase win probability
  • Ability to influence and lead internal teams (Product, Engineering, Sales) to support specific capture objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience required
  • Candidates must meet EAR part 772 and ITAR 120.15 definition of a U.S. person and that they reside in the contiguous United States
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based, without the need for visa sponsorship
