Job Description:

A Nurse Resident is a new graduate direct clinical care registered nurse (RN) who continues to develop nursing knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors introduced in formal education as they transition into practice.

Job Responsibility:

  • Transition into practice as a new graduate direct clinical care registered nurse (RN)
  • Demonstrate competency in core and functional areas
  • Progression in leading through mission vision and values, patient/customer focus, taking ownership, health care knowledge, teamwork, clinical performance improvement, service excellence, decision making and critical thinking, and patient safety

Requirements:

  • Associate Of Nursing
  • Must Be a graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse: TN, GA, or other multi-state compact RN license
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) American Heart Association upon hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 120 Days (Preferred)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 Days (Preferred)
